Profile - Susan Dunstall, Garden Designer
A lifelong love of plants and gardening combined with a passion for design, art and drawing brought me to the profession of Landscape and Garden Design after a background in project management consultancy - essential skills to make sure projects are delivered to time and within budget.
I am a graduate from Oxford College of Garden Design with a Post Graduate Diploma (Distinction) in Residential Landscape Architecture and am now a tutor for the college's innovative online course.
Since then I have set up my own design practice based near Burford in the Cotswolds and design gardens for private clients. I also undertake landscape designs and planting schemes for new developments, commercial properties and school playgrounds working with Architects, Property developers and Landscape contractors.
Working with low carbon technology companies has given me an interest and experience in sustainability and biodiversity, wherever possible I work towards environmentally sustainable design and the use of locally sourced materials.
